GridHeritage could not exist without the support of many people and organisations. The GridHeritage members, especially the Executive Team have given many hours of their time and expertise to make the collection what it is today.

Transpower has supported GridHeritage from the start and continues to support us with project funding, legal expertise, storage facilities at Bunnythorpe and help from local staff.

Power Systems Consultants (PSC) has also been a great supporter of GridHeritage. In the PSC office in Tawa there is a display of historic equipment from the electricity industry - much of this display belongs to GridHeritage.

People in the field, and in particular those working on Transpower lines and substations, keep an eye out for significant historic equipment to add to our collection. Equipment which has come to the end of its operational life has been earmarked for transfer from the scrap bin to the GridHeritage collection.

Massey University Museum Studies Group did the original cataloguing of our equipment and moved it safely to Bunnythorpe for us.

Without the support of these people our collection would be lost, and New Zealand would be the poorer.
