The legal name remains unchanged, but in 2005 we chose a simpler working name &#8211; GridHeritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Objectives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To protect, store and make available the Electricity Transmission Heritage collection by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>protecting the existing collection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cataloguing the collection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>adding articles to the collection over time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>making the collection available to professionals and educational users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To establish a body of interested people to ensure the ongoing development and running of the Electricity Transmission Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To promote the development of Energy Heritage Collections throughout New Zealand and build links with kindred organisations internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Items to be collected include papers, files, books, manuals, catalogues, notes, drawings, calculations, photographs, equipment, instruments, tools and oral histories in accordance with a collection policy.
